We are curious...do you LOVE trying new, local cuisine when you travel or do you like to find your favourites in new places?? We are enjoying a balance between the two!!

Our pleasure! Thank you so much! Its definitely a place worth visiting and we really just scratched the surface of the entire area. So much to see, do and explore and we definitely could dive deeper into Montenegrin dishes - especially would like to get up in the mountains for some of that cuisine! Cheers! ❤️

I focus on local mostly trying new dishes. My favourites are now what I’ve eaten in my travels.

That is how we generally like to roll as well! And agreed, our favourites are definitely dishes we have tried while travelling.

Thanks! It's definitely a classic for a reason! The atmosphere at La Catedral just makes it taste better too! LOL 😊

Great info! Food looks fabulous! It’s one of my favourite parts of travel. I LOVE to cook/bake so I try and find one food that has easy to source ingredients and try to recreate it at home. Question of the day…Jan what is the brand of your dark 1/4 zip…looks like merino wool?

Thanks so much Lori!! I love trying to recreate something as well! Answer to the question of the day: You have a keen eye! It is indeed a merino wool quarter zip (actually in that shot in the main square I am also sporting the merino wool travel pant LOL). We are trying out merino wool this time around and we purchased some items from Unbound Merino. So far we are super happy with the look, the fresh smell and barely washing. Will see how they stand up after 6 months of travel. To be continued... LOL. Cheers!!

@@mitchandjanwe love merino wool! We haven’t tried the pants yet but have many other items. We put them through the wringer on our previous Caminos and plan to take them on the Camino Frances in September. Well worth the money even though it hurts when you click that pay now button! 😂

@@loriday9625 that is good news! Happy to hear that you love your wool! What brand have you had good luck with? So far, we have barely washed things. We hang them outside between wears, but only wash if they get dirty or after two weeks. Let us know your brand!!

@ we have both Unbound Merino and Smartwool. Can’t go wrong with either! I do find that Smartwool is more active wear which is the direction we head. And I know this sounds weird but merino underwear can’t be beat!

LOL!! We have thought about trying the underwear! We will have to give Smartwool a try because we would like more active wear type merino for sure! Good to know that you are happy with both brands, thank you! I just LOVE how fast they dry too! So great because we hang all of our stuff anyway.

    Any problem with speaking English?

English was WIDELY spoken in Montenegro and Kotor. They learn English in school, we learned. So younger generations are especially fluent in English.
